Party in the basement

JR Macs was an absolute blast, despite the terrible acoustics, the moldy smell, and the temperature swing (from about 58 degrees to 78 in about 30 minutes). We had a packed house, and the bar was completely unprepared for the turnout. Apparently, they ran out of several types of beer, had to go to plastic cups, as they couldn't wash them fast enough, and had to call in reinforcements. Nice job everyone!

Everything's heavy underground

The Subsidies are heading underground on Saturday, Feb. 17 at JR Mac's in St. Paul. We're taking over the basement and going house-party style. Yes, it's sort of cold down there, smells a little like bong water, and will probably leave you with some sort of bronchial infection, but what good venue doesn't?

Scott Walker is opening up for The Subsidies, so be sure to get there by 9pm to see Scott do his thing. He's British, so you know he's good.

Get your buzz on early, as the basement will be packed and rockin' in no time.
See you ALL on Saturday, Feb. 17 at JR Mac's on West 7th in St. Paul.

ONE: Cut a hole in a box...
